Jimmy O'Sullivan Memorial Youth Cup
The semi finals and final of the second annually Jimmy O'Sullivan Youths Cup will be held in Mervue this weekend after all four club's remaining agreed to run the competition off this Sunday due to club players involved in exams. All games will take place at Fahy's Field on Sunday afternoon.
Both semi-finals will take place at 1.30 pm at Fahy's Field with Mervue Utd hosting Athenry and Moyne Villa playing Kinvarra Utd in the last four games.
The winners of those two semi-finals will play each other in the final at 3.30 pm at Fahy's Field.
Mervue Utd will be looking to retain the cup they won last year defeating Salthill Devon in the final in Eamonn Deacy Park to become the first ever winners of the cup in honour of the club's former legendary manager and club official with O'Sullivan Park in Mervue named in his honour.
The presentation will take place after final in the Trappers Inn and all are welcome to come along and enjoy the football and some finger food and refreshments after to remember the great Jimmy. "Spot on Skip"
