Details of the Connacht FA Youths Cup and Shield Finals have been confirmed with all games taking place at the grounds of IT Sligo on the 4th and 5th of May.

With Mervue Utd club teams involved in all four Cup finals it promises to be a very exciting weekend of football for the club.

The Under 12 Cup final is first up as the club's U-12 A team take on Salthill Devon in an all Galway affair at 1 pm. 

The Under 14 Cup Final will see the club's U-14 A team take on Mayo side, Kiltimagh/Knock United, at 3 pm.

On Sunday there is Galway involvement in all of the finals as the Under 16 and 18 Cup and Shield Finals will be played.

The Under 16 Cup Final will be the first down for decision as the U-16 A team face neighbours Renmore at 12 noon. 

In the Under 18 Cup Final it could be an all club affair with the A team awaiting the winners of the B team's semi-final with Manulla FC with that last four tie to be played next Wednesday (24th April). The U-18 Youth final will kick off at 3 pm.

All Cup & Shield Games decided on the day if still a draw after full time plus one period of extra time (10 minutes E/W) FIFA Rules on Penalty’s to apply. Any Club/Team forfeiting a fixture will be removed from the competition and disciplinary action will follow.

All games will take place at the IT Sligo Grounds
