SFAI Cup Weekend

It’s a big weekend of SFAI Cup action at Fahy’s Field for Mervue Utd underage teams as the club will play host to four Irish Cup games at underage level. The club’s U-12, U-14, U-15 and U-16 teams will all play host to teams from Dublin and Clare this weekend with two games each on both Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

The club’s U-14 team will kick things off on Saturday as the host top Dublin side St Kevins Boys at 1 pm in the fifth round of the SFAI Goodson Cup. That game will be followed by the U-15 team hosting another top Dublin Schoolboy league side as they face St Josephs Boys in the fifth round of the SFAI Evans Cup at 2.30 pm.

On Sunday the club’s U-16 team will host Clare side, Avenue Utd, in the fifth round of the SFAI Barry Cup with kick-off at 12.30 pm. The U-12 team will then host another Dublin side, Malahide Utd, in their fifth round SFAI Norton cup game with kick-off at 2.30 pm. 

The club hopes to play as many of the games, were possible, on the main pitch at Fahy’s Field depending on the weather.
